One county we assisted had more than ten million dollars in uncollected judgements sitting in a basement. What is in your basement or storage boxes?
What if there is a strategy that could provide prosecuting attorneys and court clerks with the funds to hire additional staff or to better equip their office? Would you consider it?
For prosecuting attorneys, the key to increasing discretionary revenue is to collect more case fees from various types of cases. Millar Company has developed and supports three different C-RAE® programs: Bad Check Recovery, Restitution Recovery and Bail Bond Recovery. In 1992, Millar Company developed the first Restitution and Bail Bond Recovery software used by an Alabama District Attorney under a state pilot program. It was also among the first companies in the U.S. to develop a comprehensive Check Recovery System.
For municipal and county court clerks, the key to increasing revenue is to collect more Court Costs & Fines. With extensive knowledge of collections, Millar Company has developed and supports its C-RAE Court Collection System which handles county and municipal criminal and traffic cases as well as parking tickets. Released in 2019, it is a great system for collecting court cases.
The software manages cases, tracks payments, disburses money to the appropriate parties, and provides reports for management and auditors.
C-RAE® software is powerful, dynamic, and easy to use. It automates the process of collecting cases, reduces errors with data validations, performs calculations, stores scanned documents, and provides express data access™ through internal search engines.
Its Activity feature stores dated notations about court appearances, motions, letters, meetings, phone conversations and skip tracing which can be searched by date range, case number or defendant name.
Technically speaking, C-RAE is a relational database with a C# front end and a SQL Database back end. Its reports are generated with Crystal Reports and can be printed or exported to Word, Excel, or a PDF. Its document/form generation is through Microsoft Word and it uses a Dymo LabelWriter for generating labels. C-RAE is designed for multiple, simultaneous users and has Optimistic Concurrency to control users modifying the same data. It offers a lot of flexibility with its 71 tables. Overall, it has seventy built-in reports and thirty-three forms including letters, Summons, Warrants, Income Withholding Orders, and Garnishments. Most forms are customizable.
The role of software is to provide a solution to a problem.
If your collection and recovery software is not producing ample revenue or is inefficient, then it is time you selected Millar Company’s C-RAE® software for Advanced Case Collection and Recovery. Designed in the 21st Century for 21st Century challenges.
